The Mustangs opened the season with a huge conference victory over Hobart 6-2. Munster took the lead a few minutes into the game, and 15 minutes later, Hobart tied the game 1-1. Munster responded with a quick goal to take a 2-1 halftime lead. The Mustangs changed things up in the second half and cruised to victory with contributions coming from a number of players. Brady Adams scored two goals and Alex Fullerton, Aris Karountzos, Marko Juretic, and Youssouf Zehraoui each added a goal. Marko Jeretic also added 2 assists and John Nelson, Rynji Childs-Weinbert, and Julian Pupillo added an assist. The JV also got a victory winning 3-0. Ian Gallegos scored the hat trick and Trine Castillo contributed 2 assists and Ethan Alonzo added an assist. The Mustangs return to action on Saturday, August 23 at home. The JV will begin at 11:00 AM and the varsity at 1:00 PM.
