The Varsity Softball team delivered a commanding 11–1 victory over conference rival Kankakee Valley, improving their overall record to 9–3 and remaining undefeated in conference play at 2–0. Caroline Wendlinger led the offensive charge, going 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs, scoring three times and driving in three runs. Cece Mason added power of her own with a 3-run homer, while Miliania Munoz contributed a double, a home run, and two RBIs in her 2-for-4 performance. Addy Biel stayed hot with two hits, one run scored, and one RBI. Ally Compton also had a strong day at the plate, going 2-for-3 — and shined in the circle, allowing just one hit and one run over six innings, while striking out nine. The team returns to action on Wednesday, April 16, as they travel to Lowell High School looking to continue their momentum in conference play.
