Munster Boys Volleyball Battles Hard but Falls to Lake Central in Four Sets

MUNSTER – The Munster boys volleyball team started strong against Lake Central on Wednesday night, taking the first set in a thrilling 26-24 finish. However, the visiting Indians responded with three consecutive set victories (19-25, 22-25, 15-25) to claim the match. The Mustangs put up a strong fight throughout, with notable performances from senior Richie Andrzejewski, who delivered 17 serves, and Austin Spain, who anchored the defense with 19 digs. Senior setter Paul Harkenrider also played a key role, tallying 26 assists to set up Munster’s attack. Despite falling short, the Mustangs showed resilience, particularly in the third set when they battled back to keep the match competitive. Munster (1-1) will look to bounce back in its next matchup against the Andrean 59ers on April 3 at 6:30 p.m.
