The Seahorses faced off against Chesterton in a dual meet last night, with mixed results for the teams. The girls fell to Chesterton by a score of 136-68, while the boys secured an impressive 128-72 victory. Standout performances came from Mia Terfler, Nico Sanchez, and Cayden Spilde, each of whom dominated their individual events. Sanchez and Spilde both claimed victories in two individual races, showcasing their strength and consistency. The Seahorses are now gearing up for a challenging weekend meet on Saturday against the third-ranked team in the state, Penn. This meet was rescheduled from November and promises to be a test of endurance and skill. Next Tuesday, January 14th, the Seahorses will celebrate Senior Night at home with a meet against Kankakee Valley. Fans are encouraged to come out and show their support for the team and their graduating seniors.
