The Mustangs opened up play on Friday night at the Leo Invite against undefeated Columbia City and prevailed 9-2. Kaylee O'Connell pitched the first 4 innings, earning the win, with 4 K's, 1 BB, and 4 hits. Emily Siurek came in to pitch the last three innings and held the Eagles scoreless with 2 K's and 2 hits. Kylee Madura and Ally Compton homered. Emily Siurek was 2-3 with 2 doubles, Morgan Kindy was 2-4 with a double and Caroline Wendlinger was 2-3 with 3 RBI's. This extends the Mustang winning streak to 6. They are 7-4 on the season. The Mustangs take on Northrop and Leo on Saturday.
