The Munster varsity boys baseball team went 2-0 this week in Northwest Crossroads Conference action by defeating Highland 15-2 and 5-0 on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. The Mustangs (6-3, 3-1 NCC) were led by impressive performances by several key contributors. On Tuesday at Highland, Munster was led by Sam Hays (2-2, 3 BB), Zach Wright (2-4, 3 R), Joey Campagna (3-5, 3 RBIs), and Mason Jarrett (3-4, 5 RBIs). Wednesday's action was highlighted by Tyler Fuller who pitched a complete game shutout while only allowing 5 hits. Zach Wright had another two hits on the evening. Both Tyler and Zach were also informed prior to the game that they would be participating in the IHSBCA Futures Game in June. Congratulations to Zach and Tyler! The Mustangs next host Lincoln-Way Central at 5 PM this Friday. Come out and support the boys!
