The Munster Mustang Girls Golf team punched its ticket to the State Championship with a third-place finish at the Regional on Saturday at Sandy Pines. The Mustangs shot a team score of 349, edging Crown Point by just one stroke (350) to secure the third and final qualifying spot. Munster’s scores were: Hannah Ingersoll – 77 Payton Ingersoll – 87 Emily Padilla – 91 Kayla Cipowski – 94 Emilia Glombicki – 99 The Mustangs will compete at the State Championship at Battle Ground Golf Club near Lafayette this Friday and Saturday, October 2–3.
