The Munster girls golf team made history Tuesday, shooting an NCC Conference Tournament record 318 to claim the conference championship at Scherwood Golf Course. Senior Hannah Ingersoll led the way with an even-par 72, highlighted by an eagle and three birdies. Ingersoll also earned NCC Tournament Medalist honors for the fourth consecutive year. Senior Emily Padilla finished runner-up with a 76, her lowest score in high school competition. Sophomore Emilia Glombicki carded an 84, while freshman Payton Ingersoll finished with an 86. Senior Kayla Cipowski rounded out the lineup with a 91. All five Munster golfers were named First Team All-Conference for their outstanding performances. The Mustangs return to the course Wednesday when they face Lake Central at Palmira Golf Club before competing in the Pat Ford Invitational on Friday.
