The Munster Mustangs Girls Tennis opened sectional play with a 4-1 victory over Illiana Christian Vikings on Tuesday night at Highland High School. The Mustangs dominated singles play, sweeping all three matches in straight sets. Munster earned 6-0, 6-0 victories at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles. The lone loss came at No. 1 doubles, 3-6, 2-6, while the No. 2 doubles team secured the fourth point for the Mustangs with a 6-1, 6-3 win. With the win, Munster advances to face Griffith Panthers today at 4 p.m. at Highland High School.
