Munster High School Boys and Girls Track & Field teams competed in an NCC tri-meet against Highland and Hanover Central on Tuesday night. The Mustang girls earned wins over both Highland (83-49) and Hanover Central (74-58), while the boys defeated Highland (101-31) and fell to Hanover Central (78-54). Munster had a strong showing in the field events, highlighted by multiple first-place finishes. On the girls side, Nwanmachidelu Odeluga dominated the shot put with a throw of 38-7. On the boys side, Savvas Radoicic led the way with a first-place finish in shot put (45-1). The Mustangs also saw success on the track, with Elora Bliss winning both the 800m and 1600m, Lekha Patel taking first in the 3200m and contributing to a winning 4x800 relay, and Igboamaka Odeluga capturing the 400m. On the boys side, Robert Covarrubias won the 800m, while Adrian Monroy took first in the 300m hurdles. Munster continues NCC competition with momentum building across both the track and field events.
