The Munstangs were the first to get on the board in the first inning when Izzy Tristan homered to left field, scoring three runs. Munster added to their lead in the top of the third after Melanie O'Conner singled and Kaylee O'Connell hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. Caroline Wendlinger, Izzy Tristan, and Caitlin Bochenek each had two hits for the Mustangs. Ally Compton got the win on the mound after pitching seven innings and striking out 12 batters. The victory brings the Mustangs record to 6-5 and 2-0 in conference. The Mustangs return to action today at home vs. conference foe Lowell.
