Mustangs Dominate Hobart 9-0 Behind Combined No-Hitter

The Mustangs stayed hot Thursday night, rolling to a dominant 9-0 win over Hobart to improve to 6-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. It was all Mustangs from the jump. Danny Schassburger broke things open early with a bases-loaded double in the first inning, and Nate Southwell added even more firepower with a home run. On the mound, Jack Kunas was dealing, throwing five innings of no-hit baseball to earn the win. Brennan Rommelfanger came in to finish the job, as the duo combined for a no-hitter. Lights out. The Mustangs don’t get much time to relax, they’re right back at it this afternoon at home against the Chesterton Trojans. First pitch is set for 5pm.
