Munster's hitters displayed a lot of power to open the season Monday. Luke Zelaya, Niko Iatredes, and Nate Southwell all went deep with their first home runs of the season. The Mustangs totaled 11 hits, 8 of which were for extra bases. Southwell and Donovan Craig led the way with 4 RBIs. Iatrides filled the stat sheet with going 2-2, 4 runs, 3 RBIs, and a BB. Jack Kunas started the game on the mound and threw 3 scoreless innings with no hits and 4 Ks. Brennan Rommelfanger and Carter Forsyth each threw a scoreless inning of relief.
