A night that the Munster Student Section will remember for a long time. Early on, the ‘Stangs and the Governors locked each other down, not allowing any easy shots. However, as time rolled on, the pace picked up.
The Munster Student’s once again proved to play mind games with the opponents, but unlike the game against Portage, the Governors would fire back at the students. An array of three-pointers from Morton would silence the students until Munster responded.
Munster finally put the nail in the coffin after an intentional foul from the Governors in the fourth quarter, as Jevon Morris would prove to not care about being fouled. All alone on a fastbreak after the whistle blew, the junior would leap up and tomahawk slam the ball to cause an eruption from the students.
Leading scorers for the ‘Stangs were Tyler Zabrecky with 16, and Jevon Morris with 15. The Boys’ next game is Friday, December 8th, at home as they host East Chicago.
